Memorial Day marked the launch of Southern Nevada's America250 programming at Hoover Dam, where Nevada and Arizona leaders unveiled a 300-foot-by-150-foot American flag and nightly red, white, and blue illumination across one of the nation's most iconic landmarks. While weather conditions may require the flag to be lowered temporarily, the lighting display will continue nightly at dusk through July 4.
