Grant opportunities

To commemorate Nevada’s heritage as the nation’s 36th state, the Department of Tourism & Cultural Affairs will provide grant opportunities for communities to get involved. Nevada Arts Council and Travel Nevada will award $250,000 each in grants to help support initiatives throughout Nevada.

The Nevada Arts Council will award $275,000 in FY26 Public Art Target of Opportunity grants. Nevada muralists and public artists can apply to partner with municipalities to create works that reflect the stories that have shaped our state. The goal is statewide representation across all 17 counties and tribal nations.

With $250,000 in matching funds available, the Travel Nevada America250 Grant supports events, programs, and projects that honor Nevada’s unique contributions to the American story, while boosting rural tourism. It’s a dedicated funding opportunity empowering Nevada’s rural communities to tell their stories, showcase their heritage, and develop impactful, tourism-driven events and initiatives.
