Nevada Civic Excellence Designation for Schools

The Nevada School of Civic Excellence designation recognizes Nevada schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to civics education and preparing students to be informed, engaged citizens. Schools can achieve one of three levels of designation—Developing, Established, or Model—with Model representing the highest standard of civic excellence. Designation is determined by the Nevada Coalition for Civics Education, which reviews school submissions and evaluates how well classrooms integrate civic knowledge, skills, and engagement opportunities.
