Location: Walker River State Recreation Area
Project Description: Be part of a featured America 250 Nevada Gives service project at the historic Flying M Ranch, within Walker River State Recreation Area. Volunteers will assist park staff with a unique safety and stewardship project focused on installing fencing and habitat restoration. This hands-on experience is ideal for adults and families with older children who enjoy meaningful outdoor work, learning about land management, and contributing to a project with visible, lasting impact. The day includes lunch at the historic Flying M Ranch and a private tour of the property, making this a one-of-a-kind volunteer opportunity.Need to Know

Registration Details: Once you sign up with this link, you will receive a training email to complete as you set up a Kaleidoscope profile and prepare for scholarship applications to start to be assigned on February 9.
Location: Throughout the state
Project Description: Last year, we awarded nearly $7 million in scholarships to students across the state of Nevada. This year, we’re facing a record-breaking number of applications, and we need volunteers like YOU to help make these opportunities possible.
Scholarship reviews can be completed anywhere in Nevada, from the comfort of your own home, on your own schedule. Just a few hours of your time could truly change the course of a student’s life.
Volunteer support is needed between February 9 and March 20. You can log in whenever it works for you, and we simply ask that your assigned scholarship bundle be completed within two weeks. -

Project Description: Volunteers have two opportunities to support the new love lock wall in Pahrump! They will work with the public at the unveiling of the love lock wall during the Hot Air Festival on February 14, 2026. They will help with selling locks, personalization, painting, etc., and placement on the wall (if needed). The second event will be the permanent installation of the love lock wall at the Calvada Eye.
