In 2026, Genoa, Nevada, will mark both America’s 250th anniversary and the town’s own 175th birthday on July 3 and 4, 2026, with a classic Americana-style community celebration at the Town Hall and Mormon Station State Historic Park, where families gather every Independence Day for a day of community festivities.

July 3: An evening Chautauqua-style performance bringing Genoa’s historical figures to life, along with commemorative 175th-anniversary gifts

July 4: An all-Americana hometown parade and town-wide celebration culminating in a large community birthday cake
